Shipping Officer

Job Description

The Shipping Officer will be responsible for managing and coordinating import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and facilitating smooth logistics operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of customs regulations, and the ability to work with customs officer, OGA officer, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, import/export declarations).
• Coordinate with customs officer, OGA officer, freight forwarders and related party to ensure timely clearance of goods.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any customs-related issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations and trade laws.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions.
