Job Description

At Maersk, we are transforming global logistics through innovation, technology, and a commitment to simplifying supply chains. Our global Tax organisation plays a key role in enabling responsible growth and shaping the financial foundation of our strategic ambitions.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Transfer Pricing Manager to join our Global Transfer Pricing team in Copenhagen. This role sits at the heart of Maersk’s strategic initiatives, focusing on TP model design, policy setting, optimisation, and M&A‑related advisory across our global footprint.

About the Role & Team

You’ll join our Global Tax organisation of 150+ professionals, across Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Tax and Transfer Pricing. The Global Transfer Pricing team consists of 14 Transfer Pricing professionals handling all aspects of in-house Transfer Pricing, including Advisory, Controversy, Treasury, Compliance, Operations, and more, partnering closely with colleagues in Finance, Legal, HR and Commercial organisations across Maersk.

Reporting directly to the Head of Transfer Pricing, you’ll help shape group‑wide TP models, lead strategic TP projects, and play a critical role in supporting M&A activities. This is a collaborative environment where teamwork, continuous improvement and shared learning are core to how we work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, optimise, and set policies for Maersk’s global TP models.
  • Provide TP input during M&A due diligence, structuring and post‑closing integration.
  • Advise regional TP, Finance and Tax teams on implementation, exceptions and local adaptations.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects focused on business reorganisations, process improvements and technology enablement.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to shaping Maersk’s long‑term TP strategy and operating model.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in Transfer Pricing, ideally including model design, operational TP and advisory (industry or Big 4).
  • Strong understanding of OECD/EU TP regulations and international business models.
  • Proven project and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to influence without authority.

What We Offer

  • A role with global impact, shaping TP frameworks across one of the world’s most recognisable logistics companies.
  • A forward‑thinking, data-driven environment where innovation is encouraged.
  • Real opportunities for career growth, learning and leadership development.
  • An inclusive, diverse workplace built on trust, collaboration and continuous learning.
