Job Description

Join the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team at Maersk, where we shape the onboarding, login, and account management experiences for every external user across our global logistics ecosystem. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of the critical digital entry point for an organization that is the logistical backbone of the world.

This role is for a hands-on senior engineer who leads by example in code, design, and mentoring.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Engineer, you are fully capable of handling complex design, development, and operational challenges for our customer-facing applications.

  • Lead Frontend Evolution: Build and evolve secure, fast, and accessible login and account management journeys using Vue.js.

  • Architect Solutions: Design resilient and scalable components, effectively justifying your implementation and infrastructure choices in technical documentation.

  • Ownership: Constructively challenge requirements to ensure we are delivering the highest value to our customers, moving beyond "order-taking" to true product thinking and ownership of outcomes.

  • Engineering Excellence: Help grow a strong, pragmatic culture by leading code reviews, pairing sessions, and contributing to Communities of Practice (CoPs).

  • Build It, Run It: Take full DevOps ownership by participating in incident responses, root cause analysis, and production monitoring.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years of professional software delivery experience, with a deep mastery of modern frontend development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and ideally Vue.js).

  • Technical Leadership: Proven ability to self-direct your learning of new frameworks and tools, and a track record of improving team processes and practices.

  • Quality Mindset: Deep care for engineering excellence and the practices that ensure it (e.g automated testing, performance budgets and observability)

  • Communication: Strong clarity in explaining technical issues and the ability to work constructively across disciplines with designers, architects, and product owners.
