Key Responsibilities

1. Benefits Strategy, Design & Governance

  • Lead regional Health & Welfare strategy for U.S. and Canada, including plan competitiveness reviews, compliance requirements, vendor performance, and cost management.
  • Recommend and model plan design changes for self‑insured medical programs, life/disability plans, and wellbeing offerings.
  • Ensure programs remain compliant with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, provincial benefits laws).
  • Identify risks in existing processes and implement controls aligned with global governance requirements.

2. Benefits Administration & Operations Leadership

  • Oversee day‑to‑day administration of Health & Welfare programs
  • Ensure high‑quality delivery of benefits services across multiple brands, employee populations, and geographies.
  • Partner with People Partners and PBPs on escalations, complex cases, and clarifications of policies and processes.
  • Oversee case management processes (intake, routing, escalation, and service metrics).
  • Expand self‑service, automation, and knowledge management to streamline employee experience and reduce cycle times.

3. Vendor & Financial Management

  • Manage U.S. and Canada benefits vendors and third‑party administrators (TPAs); ensure performance meets SLA and contractual expectations.
  • Participate in contract reviews, negotiations, and cost‑control initiatives.
  • Oversee invoicing, billing accuracy, and financial governance routines.
  • Conduct regular data analyses to identify cost drivers, trends, and opportunities to optimize spend.

4. Continuous Improvement

  • Lead end-to-end process improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to standardize, reengineer workflows, and reduce manual work, and raise to local & global stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and governance documents for all benefits processes.
  • Proactively identify areas of improvement in how the Rewards package is constructed and Rewards are applied in countries/areas of responsibility
  • Conduct appropriate market analyses, identifying gap to market and areas needing special attention

5. Support to internal People Function stakeholders

  • Provide guidance to HR in local program/policy matters, prioritization of rewards resources
  • Responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the annual open enrollment cycle and liaison with relevant internal stakeholders within own geographic scope (PPs, PBPs, HRIT, Finance)
  • Provide training, guidance, and data-driven insights to People Partners and PBPs on benefits programs, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Work with Legal and Finance locally to prepare for plan design changes, policy changes, etc.
  • Provide training, analyses, and background preparation for Benefit programs and processes to enable People Partners and PBPs in successfully using these and applying the Rewards (benefits) principles

6. Global Rewards engagement & support:

  • Serve as the regional delivery owner for global benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring local adoption aligns with intended global outcomes.
  • Contribute to global project teams and provide input on change impacts, training needs, and readiness planning.
  • Act as a subject-matter sparring partner for complex benefits, and policy scenarios requiring heightened expertise.
  • Heads of People Function, People Partnering organization, HR Business Partners.
  • Employee Relations, Legal, Labor Relations
  • Employee Experience Organisation team to ensure initiatives, frameworks, capability building are executed
  • Global Operations Team to work together to provide a great employee experience
  • Rewards People Solutions and Rewards delivery team to ensure global initiatives are implemented at local level

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Benefits, Rewards, or HR operations, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. and Canada benefits programs and regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, provincial regulations)
  • Experience supporting unionized workforces as well as frontline and office‑based employee populations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in plan design evaluation, cost modeling, and recommending H&W design changes.
  • Strong analytical and financial management skills, including program performance analysis and vendor cost evaluation.
  • Experience leading benefits operations or service delivery teams (matrixed)
  • Experience in large international organizations and ability to navigate complex stakeholder matrix
  • Proven ability to improve processes, implement automation, strengthen controls, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Vendor management experience, including SLA oversight and support for contract negotiation.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder partnership, and influencing skills, with the ability to guide and upskill Benefits and People Function teams.
  • Experience using ADP and Workday- preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Qualifications Required

  • 3–5+ years of experience in project management, HR analytics or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage, interpret, and present data effectively.

  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder facilitation and reporting.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point & Power BI (or similar tools)

  • Familiarity with HR systems, data structures, and workforce metrics.

  • Experience supporting HR transformation

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
