Reliability Manager

APM Terminals

APM Terminals plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals.
In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reliability Manager to join our Asset management team.

The Reliability Manager will be responsible for improving the reliability of our asset and processes, minimizing downtime, managing the risk to meet the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reliability strategy to enhance our asset performance (Max reliability and availability)
  • Develop and implement reliability plans that support to boost our asset performance during life cycle.
  • Analyze failures datas and use the reliability analysis tools to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Create and manage reliability studies and life data analysis on applicable asset.
  • Ensure the asset are comply with legal requirements.
  • Ensure close coordination with our asset owners (Equipment managers) and our global reliability teams to identify priorities and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plant or business operations.
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration to drive improvement initiatives
  • Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect the asset delivery and terminal performance.
  • Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect our business.
  • Ensure that all maintenance procedures are safe, efficient, and effective.
  • Develop the skills and competencies of team members, taking into account succession planning and career progression, as appropriate.
  • Develop a budget for all planned and corrective maintenance
  • Proactively track and manage the cost of equipment maintenance, responding to rising costs and identifying ways to optimize them
  • Develop and participate actively in our decarbonization strategy that brings key elements of our Net Zero planning process to provide a high-level framework for how our organization is going to act on Net carbon.

Technical skills

  • Asset maintenance (Mechanical, Electromechanical)
  • Project management with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and predictive models.
  • Proficiency with reliability analysis tools (e.g., FMEA, FMECA, RCA).
  • Asset management
  • Strong knowledge on Lean tools (PS, Pdm, Standarisation,...)
  • Attention to detail and focus on results.
  • Risk management.

---------
- Mechanical or Electro-mechanical engineer from high school

- Proven experience as a Reliability Manager, Asset management or engineering mainly in heavy industry ( Ports, cement, mining,…)
