and updating of shipping documents and Customer Invoices in the system.

Role Purpose

The SCM Process Expert – End-to-End supports operational excellence across the complete forwarding lifecycle (Planning → Origin → TPP → Destination → Delivery). The role focuses on SLA adherence, process standardization, visibility improvement, and performance monitoring within Ocean Forwarding (FCL/LCL).

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ End-to-End Process Execution

  • Execute and monitor E2E shipment lifecycle.
  • Ensure SOP compliance across Origin, TPP, and Destination.
  • Track milestone updates and shipment status accuracy.
  • Support process documentation and updates.

2️⃣ Performance & KPI Monitoring

  • Monitor TAT, SLA adherence, and shipment milestones.
  • Support FCR improvement and reduce reopen cases.
  • Prepare daily/weekly performance dashboards.
  • Identify trends and escalate risks proactively.

3️⃣ Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with Origin, TPP, and Destination teams.
  • Support booking, documentation validation, and milestone tracking.
  • Ensure timely updates in system (e.g., case management / forwarding tool).
  • Follow structured escalation matrix.

4️⃣ Exception & Escalation Handling

  • Identify shipment delays, rollovers, and documentation gaps.
  • Conduct basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Support corrective and preventive action tracking.
  • Maintain escalation logs and resolution follow-ups.

5️⃣ Continuous Improvement Support

  • Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support automation and digital initiatives.
  • Participate in productivity and quality improvement programs.
  • Assist in internal audits and governance reviews.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Ocean Forwarding (FCL/LCL basics).
  • Knowledge of export/import documentation.
  • Analytical mindset with good Excel/reporting skills.
  • Good stakeholder communication.
  • Process-oriented and detail-focused.

Experience & Qualification

  • 2–4 years experience in SCM / Freight Forwarding / Logistics Operations.
  • Exposure to global trade lanes preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.

Success Metrics

  • SLA adherence >95%
  • Accurate milestone updates
  • Reopen rate <10%
  • Escalation response within defined TAT
  • Process compliance 100%
