Purpose/Summary:
To execute Air Export & Import operational processes in alignment with global standards, ensuring consistent, timely, and high-quality customer experience.
To manage Air FinOps processes, ensuring accurate and timely Order Management, system updates, revenue & cost recognition, and customer billing.
To collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (CX, Operations, Finance, and Area teams) to ensure smooth cargo flow, cost control, and invoice quality.
To support continuous improvement initiatives, drive process discipline, and maintain strong compliance with Maersk process design and control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Air Operations (Export & Import)
Execute the complete Export and Import Air processes in line with global SOPs and SLAs.
Manage booking handling, documentation checks, cut-off adherence, and ensure all shipment milestones are completed timely.
Conduct Manifesting (Export & Import) and ensure accurate transmission as required by regulatory bodies.
Facilitate cargo readiness, coordinate delivery orders, and provide proactive communication to prevent delays and additional costs.
Support documentation finalization, exception handling, and closure of all open operational tasks.
Collaborate with Area Partners, CX teams, and Ground Handlers to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
Attend to customer inquiries and internal stakeholder emails within defined SLAs.
Air FinOps (Revenue & Cost, Billing, System Controls)
Ensure timely and accurate creation of Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) in line with booking and cost input standards.
Perform Customer Invoicing with high accuracy, ensuring alignment with contracts, tariffs, and customer requirements.
Ensure Contracts & Rates are updated in systems and applied correctly.
Understand SO–PO correlation and ensure proper revenue recognition and cost accruals, following finance guidelines.
Perform interface checks, reconciliations, and correction of system discrepancies across tools (e.g., CW1 Billing Tab, Cost Update).
Maintain volume trackers, dashboards, or control sheets to support accuracy and audit compliance.
Address ad-hoc customer billing exceptions or disputes with urgency and proper documentation.
Qualifications:
Graduate of any 4-year bachelor's degree
At least two (2) years’ experience in handling both Operations and FinOps transactions/processes in the shipping/forwarding/supply chain industries.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
Knowledge of CargoWise One and MS Excel is an advantage.
Above-average stakeholder management skills.
Must be based in the Philippines and amenable to work during local holidays
Open to a Hybrid work arrangement but should still be willing to work onsite when needed
Night-shift work schedule (8:30PM earliest schedule)
Willing to work on weekends/rotating off
