Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Platform Product Subject Matter Expert owns Maersk’s Global TAX technology platform. She/he works closely with our Global Indirect TAX business team and our internal TAX engineers to design, develop and maintain a TAX technology platform, that serves our business’ needs and is scalable to support our Maersk Integrator journey. The Platform Product Subject Matter Expert leads and drives the implementation of the TAX technology platform roadmap and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders within Global TAX as well as across other finance areas.
Role Responsibilities:
Own the Indirect TAX technology platform, roadmap and backlog
Understand business and end-user’s needs and translate them into technical requirements/specifications for build
Select the best solution option and solve platform design challenges in collaboration with engineers
Understand the current vs the new solution and related business and end-user impact
Own Indirect TAX data and support migration and validation
Develop test scenarios and test cases and support end-users with testing
Support test issue resolution
Drive business cut-over activities
Support hyper care issue resolution
Person Specification:
You have a personal drive, take ownership and work independently
You have an end-to-end process mindset and solid experience with Indirect TAX and Accounts Receivable processes.
You have a technical understanding of and can navigate in SAP (ECC/S4)
You have either been part of a software delivery organization or been leading software implementation projects, so that you understand the cycle of software delivery
You can apply agile analysis technics and transforming business requirements into technical specifications.
You have experience with test case preparation and test execution.
