Job Summary
The FLPO People Advisor plays a pivotal role in advancing the People Strategy by delivering high-quality administrative and advisory support across the organization. As the first point of contact for FLPO employees, the People Advisor ensures the effective implementation of HR processes, fosters a positive employee experience, and promotes company culture.
Scope
People Advisors operate within teams supporting one or more sites, partnering with operational leaders and employees to deliver HR services and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning
- Support headcount budgeting and manpower analysis.
- Provide labor cost calculations and benefits loading for new projects.
- Review and update internal HR documents (e.g., job descriptions, HR processes).
- Partner with TAA teams to ensure timely and accurate resourcing.
- Prepare and manage employment contracts, promotions, terminations, and related documentation.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Coordinate onboarding and deliver people elements of induction.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation, including documentation, sign-offs, and mandatory training.
- Guide employees and managers on HR systems (e.g., Workday, Time & Attendance).
- Facilitate pre-employment requirements and contract sign-offs.
Time & Attendance Management (As applicable based on local context)
- Implement and manage local Time & Attendance systems.
- Enroll new hires, capture biometrics, and manage access rights.
- Provide monthly headcount and working hours reports.
- Apply for special working hour approvals from government authorities.
Learning & Development (As applicable based on local context)
- Prepare and monitor annual training plans.
- Manage training records and evaluate effectiveness.
- Organize internal and external training programs.
- Support career development initiatives/programmes as applicable
- Track On-the-Job Training (OJT) completion.
- Support design and implementation of competency-based training for frontline roles.
Employee Services
- Benefits administration and support for employee queries
- Manage work permits and onboarding for foreign employees.
- Support MPACT implementation
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Deploy site engagement plans across all shifts.
- Ensure effective communication via notice boards, screens, and briefings.
- Support standard casework (absence, discipline, grievance).
- Maintain ER trackers and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding processes.
- Handle crisis management and whistle-blowing investigations.
- Monitor turnover and implement retention programs.
- Conduct focus groups and translate survey results into action plans.
HR Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare HR analytics and reports (headcount, attrition, cost, etc.).
- Submit reports to government agencies and respond to surveys as applicable.
- Manage outsourced labor reporting and compliance.
- Partner with operations for service billing and labor audits.
- Support ISO and customer audits.
- Maintain HR systems and employee data quality.
Compensation & Benefits
- Coordinate employment contract renewals.
- Consolidate and verify payroll data.
- Lead incentive and reward programs.
- Conduct salary and market data surveys.

Requirements
- Experience in HR and local labor law.
- Background in logistics or operations.
- Strong employee-centric mindset and service orientation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Solution-focused with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English (highly desirable).
- Experience with Workday (preferred).
