Are you ready to navigate the complexities of global logistics with precision and finesse? We're seeking a Logistics Project Manager to spearhead our team to success at Maersk Project Logistics (MPL). You'll be part of a culturally diverse environment, surrounded by new ideas and different ways of doing things.

As a Project Forwarder , you'll work with our Industrial Projects team and support other Maersk Project Logistics verticals in handling all types of transportation for our clients, from over-dimensional to containerized cargo.

The Role:

In this role, you'll design tailor-made logistics solutions, manage operational and documentation aspects of projects, procure, and evaluate offers from subcontractors, maintain daily communication with stakeholders, and potentially travel for projects.

Your days will be diverse, filled with complex coordination with multiple stakeholders in remote areas globally, all in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be overseeing and executing the flow of cargo and ensuring the shipment meets regulatory requirements and arrives at the destination on time. You’ll be liaising with multiple stakeholders and managing the dependencies in the process. It could involve activities around loading/ discharging goods, inter-terminal transfers, transshipment bookings, cost-effective routing, etc

What you'll bring:

• Project management experience and ideally a minimum of two years of experience in forwarding/logistics, with knowledge of over-dimensional transports by sea and/or road.
• Strong Analysis skills to investigate and evaluate data, identify trends, and make informed judgments
• Good stakeholder management skills to coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders to overcome roadblocks
• Good communication skills to be able to convey information clearly and concisely, through written reports, presentations, or verbal exchanges
• Good Problem-Solving Abilities and the ability to troubleshoot to find creative solutions to overcome obstacles
• Attention to Detail to ensure you have complete coverage of the numerous moving parts and inter-dependencies.

A valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
