About the role
As a Logistics Planner at Maersk Air Cargo, you will be part of a highly skilled team supporting a growing global air cargo operation. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of an international aviation business, ensuring the availability and movement of critical resources that keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and global partner network, helping to drive operational excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement. This is a fully office-based role, requiring on-site presence five days per week at the advertised location.
Primary responsibilities will include
- Procurement of aircraft materials and spare parts
- Coordination and follow-up of aircraft component repairs
- Daily management of Power-by-the-Hour (PBH) agreements
- Planning and coordination of domestic and international shipments, including documentation management
- Handling both scheduled deliveries and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
- Preparation of reports, analyses, and calculations
- Various ad hoc tasks related to logistics and supply chain operations
What you bring
- Experience within the airline, aviation, or logistics industry (required)
- Proven experience in airline supply chain management and supply and demand planning
- Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Teams
- Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset
- Experience in supplier management and negotiations
Practical information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week, scheduled between 06:00 and 24:00
- Participation in the company’s 24/7 AOG (Aircraft on Ground) on-call rotation is required
- Some travel activity should be expected
