Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and well-organized professional to join our Crewing team as maternity cover, supporting our Crewing Newbuilding activities.
Do you want to contribute to the successful execution of newbuilding and vessel takeover projects in a global, high-performance environment? In this role, you will support driving the coordination and delivery of crewing-related tasks that help prepare our future fleet for safe and efficient operations.
You will work closely with Fleet Groups, Marine Safety, Fleet Technology, Site Teams, Yard agents, and MPC colleagues to ensure timely, compliant, and well-coordinated project activities. You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for delivering operational crewing support across our fleet.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and expand your capabilities in the following areas:
- Supporting Marine People and Culture (MPC) processes for newbuilding and vessel takeover projects.
- Preparing pre- and post-delivery plans for training, experience building, and pool readiness.
- Coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder global projects
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the organization to ensure timely information flow and alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MPC processes for newbuilding and vessel takeover projects, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational requirements. • Preparing sustainable pre and post-delivery plans covering training, experience, and pool readiness. • Coordination of multiple global project activities, helping ensure timely execution within defined scope and priorities
- Coordinate stakeholders across Fleet Groups, Marine Safety, Fleet Technology, Site Teams, Yard agents, and MPC to secure alignment and operational readiness. • Facilitate crew selection and identify training needs based on vessel specifications and operational demands. •Support with developing project plans, governance structures, and training materials to support successful project delivery. • Maintain clear communication and relationships with stakeholders and help drive structured within project scope. • Support cost-effective planning of crew-related activities in collaboration with relevant teams. • Provide insights and recommendations on organizational effectiveness and crewing-related considerations. Ensure all activities uphold Maersk’s safety standards and support the wellbeing of seafarers. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in departmental projects as required.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate brings a strong interest in maritime operations and crewing, paired with proven coordination skills in large-scale, complex projects. A structured, detail-oriented approach to work is essential, along with the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities in a dynamic, global environment.
You bring
- Possess strong knowledge of maritime operations, crewing, and safe manning requirements.
- Bring experience in coordinating large-scale or multi-stakeholder projects in a global and dynamic environment
- Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing parallel tasks.
- Can plan and execute in a structured manner, which is critical to succeed in the position
- Communicate clearly in English and enjoy collaborating in an international setting.
- Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Are a strong team player, adaptable, proactive, and motivated to deliver high-quality work.
