Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) offers transportation services like FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less Than Truckload), brokerage, cross-border trucking, groupage, and sortation hubs, connecting Maersk or Customer warehouses or depots or cross-dock/consolidation/deconsolidation facilities through a robust network led by best-in-class operations and technology. This integrated network will service multi-channels like B2B, B2C, B2B2C, e-commerce, direct to store, dropship, returns, and more, leveraging asset-based, asset-light, and non-asset models.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Air Export Agent to manage the air freight export process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international shipping, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to handle export documentation with accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of air export shipments, including pickup, booking with airlines, and final delivery.
- Prepare, process, and verify all necessary export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
- Monitor shipments in transit and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.
- Resolve any shipping-related issues, such as delays or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping records and databases.
- Stay informed of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and air freight trends.
- Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in air export logistics; 3 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of air freight operations, routes, and international shipping regulations.
- Proficiency with shipping software and document preparation.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range:
- $23-$25 per hour
- Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
