Looking for a chance to work with tailor-made logistics in a global leader in container logistics?
Customer Experience Consultant – SCM
We offer
At Maersk, we are transforming how logistics supports our customers’ businesses. Our focus is simple: delivering seamless, reliable and customer-centric solutions that make supply chains easier to manage every day.
From our Aarhus office, you’ll join a collaborative Customer Experience team where you will play an important role in managing complex supply chains and supporting some of our key customers.
You will work closely with customers and colleagues across Operations, Product, Finance and other functions to ensure smooth end-to-end execution and a consistently high level of service.
We believe in empowering our people to take ownership, solve problems and continuously improve how we work. If you enjoy working with customers, coordinating complex logistics and taking responsibility for getting things done, this could be the opportunity for you.
Key responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will be a key point of contact for our customers and help ensure their day-to-day supply chain activities run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating import and export shipments throughout the end-to-end supply chain
Handling both LCL and FCL shipments, with a particular focus on LCL
Acting as a trusted point of contact for customers and proactively managing inquiries, exceptions and operational challenges
Coordinating shipments from booking through to final delivery and ensuring alignment across relevant stakeholders
Supporting quotations, rate calculations and pricing-related activities when required
Maintaining a strong financial focus, including cost awareness, invoicing and financial follow-up
Monitoring shipment performance and proactively addressing delays, deviations or service disruptions
Working closely with Operations, Product, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure customer commitments are met
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, quality and the overall customer experience
Taking ownership of issues and driving them through to resolution
Using data, digital solutions and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to simplify processes and improve the way we work
We are looking for
You are someone with a solid logistics or supply chain background who enjoys combining operational coordination with close customer interaction.
You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and shipments while maintaining a clear overview, and you take ownership of issues rather than waiting for others to solve them.
Furthermore, you:
Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
Are an educated freight forwarder or have an equivalent logistics background
Have experience with both import and export logistics
Have solid experience with LCL, combined with good knowledge of FCL shipments
Have experience with quoting, rate calculations and pricing
Have good financial understanding, including costs and invoicing
Have a strong customer-service mindset
Understand end-to-end shipping and supply chain processes
Have good Excel skills and are comfortable working with operational and financial data
Are comfortable using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and curious about how technology can simplify daily work
Are proactive, structured and solution-oriented
Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Have strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Are comfortable collaborating across Operations, Product, Finance and other functions
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who combines strong logistics knowledge with a genuine desire to take ownership and create a great customer experience.
We look forward to your application!
