This position looking for all candidates across Mekong - located in Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

This role is to will support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity in the Area Delivery Organization TbM (Specifically in FINOPS across LCL, Landside Transportation). This includes anchoring and facilitating project prioritization and readiness in support of TbM Leaders and their teams. He/She will also facilitate the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and tools for continuous improvement.

Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Partner with a strong focus on Financial Operations (FinOps) within the Mekong region.
This role aims to optimize end-to-end operational processes impacting financial visibility and job-level P&L—from upstream procurement and sales, to operational file handling, to financial reporting and reconciliation activities.
As a Continuous Improvement Partner – FinOps, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement best practices, and ensure that data is accurately captured and processed. You will also drive automa-tion between different systems to streamline workflows. This position offers an ex-citing opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's operational efficiency and financial accuracy, working in a collaborative environment that val-ues continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders across the Transported by Maersk (TbM) organization to identify opportunities for process im-provement and operational excellence.

  • Job Costing Accuracy: Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement projects, providing expertise in process improvement methodologies, change man-agement, and data analysis to ensure accurate job costing.

  • Data Integrity: Facilitate process improvement workshops, brainstorming sessions, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans that enhance data accuracy and integrity.

  • Performance Metrics Development: Assist in developing and implementing performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement initiatives on operational and financial outcomes.

  • Coaching & Training: Provide coaching, training, and guidance to operational teams on continuous improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to foster a culture of excellence.

  • Project Monitoring: Monitor and track the progress of improvement projects, ensuring milestones are met, and outcomes are achieved, with a focus on opera-tional efficiency and financial accuracy.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitat-ing communication and collaboration on improvement initiatives to ensure align-ment and effective implementation.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging tech-nologies, and advancements in continuous improvement methodologies to drive innovation and best practices.


We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in operational accounting and job costing ac-tivities, preferably in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.

  • Skills: Strong process improvement and project management skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

  • Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles; certification is pre-ferred.

  • Mindset: Results-driven with the ability to influence and drive change across teams.

  • Work Style: Comfortable working in a matrix organization and across diverse cultural contexts.
