Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based environments using AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be passionate about operational excellence, reliability, and automation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Monitor and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software.
• Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Cloud-native tools.
• Ensure security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments including secrets management, identity management, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Background in observability tools and practices.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
