KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you will be accountable for:

Performance Management & Business Partnering

  • Ensure the operating system for performance management is active and effective within assigned execution team(s).

  • Deploy and cascade KPIs to ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Participate in daily stand-ups and weekly meetings to embed finance in operational decision-making.

  • Use visual management systems and RCA frameworks to highlight, challenge, and improve performance levels.

  • Provide objective performance assessments and co-create improvement plans with execution leaders.

  • Stay updated on operational developments and proactively challenge performance gaps.

Business Insight & Decision Support

  • Develop a deep understanding of operational drivers and take ownership of overall business performance within scope.

  • Produce timely management reports, gap analyses, and actionable insights.

  • Support the development and validation of business cases, ensuring sound assumptions, robust financials, and post-implementation benefit tracking.

  • Partner cross-functionally to challenge assumptions, influence decision-making, and ensure business strategies are grounded in data and financial reality.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and support execution of joint productivity plans.

  • Support month-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Provide input and quality assurance for FP&A deliverables (Budget, RoFo, QBR, Monthly Performance).

  • Deliver accurate, relevant, and timely commentary to regional/centre stakeholders.

Community & Capability Building

  • Engage actively in the finance community, sharing best practices and leveraging global/regional insights.

  • Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement using analytical tools and methodologies.

  • Support data-driven decision-making by applying structured analysis and clear visualization techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.

  • Proficiency in performance management frameworks and RCA tools.

  • Strong data strategy mindset: planning, analytics, and visualization to drive insights.

  • Familiarity with market, industry, and regulatory dynamics.

  • Ability to link operational performance with financial outcomes and strategy.

  • Skilled at building, reviewing, and challenging business cases with commercial acumen.

  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across levels.

  • Customer focus and ability to align financial insights with operational and customer outcomes.

Personal & Leadership

  • Independent thinker with the ability to objectively challenge and coach stakeholders.

  • Problem-solving orientation, turning complex issues into actionable solutions.

  • Ownership mindset, willing to step into new areas (e.g., First Mile or other execution responsibilities).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.

  • Continuous learner, sharing best practices and elevating finance community standards.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with relevant professional qualification (ACCA or CPA) preferred

  • At least 3–5 years of proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within a multinational corporation or a leading consulting environment

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar) to generate actionable insights

  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate effectively through ambiguity

  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across functions
