Skills & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain a logistics network and shipment frequency for a specified geographical area, ensuring timely forwarding of spares to designated vessels
Handle logistics planning and arrangements involving interactions with the 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) & customs house agents (CHAs).
Align supply chain + category strategy with procurement counterparts
Monitor fleet performance data and develop improvement / action plans. Attend meetings with stakeholders to address the same
Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
Stakeholder management across technical organizations, different category teams, 3PL partners etc.
Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) for smooth follow-up on deliveries to warehouses and vessels.
Ensure optimum utilization of vessel budgets.
Ensure team stakeholders complies with SOPs, contract terms and conditions compliance, and international regulations.
Follow the 4R Principle – Right price, Right Place, Right time and Right Quantities.
Always Follow the Maersk’s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.
Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders.
