Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain a logistics network and shipment frequency for a specified geographical area, ensuring timely forwarding of spares to designated vessels
- Handle logistics planning and arrangements involving interactions with the 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) & customs house agents (CHAs).
- Align supply chain + category strategy with procurement counterparts
- Monitor fleet performance data and develop improvement / action plans. Attend meetings with stakeholders to address the same
- Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
- Stakeholder management across technical organizations, different category teams, 3PL partners etc.
- Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) for smooth follow-up on deliveries to warehouses and vessels.
- Ensure optimum utilization of vessel budgets.
- Ensure team stakeholders complies with SOPs, contract terms and conditions compliance, and international regulations.
- Follow the 4R Principle – Right price, Right Place, Right time and Right Quantities.
- Always Follow the Maersk’s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.
- Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders.

- Person with minimum 4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Holds a bachelor’s degree at minimum with a logistics / supply chain background.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Management and International logistics
- Strong ability towards strategic thinking
- Understands stakeholder management and can build rapport even in challenging situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focus and service mind set
- Preferred a broad knowledge on non- purchasing and logistics subjects, e.g. technical insight, vessel operations, customs rules and regulations in the countries which our vessels trade
- Agile behaviour while handling numerous tasks within limited timeframes in a structured manner with an eye for the detail level necessary
