Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Lead the strategic growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the LCL & CRM portfolio across SAA, Pakistan, and UAE. Translate regional and global product strategies into actionable business plans and drive execution to deliver sustainable growth, enhanced customer satisfaction, and improved product competitiveness.

The role holds end to end accountability for regional product P&L, commercial growth, service quality, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives. As a key member of the regional product leadership team, the incumbent will drive cross-functional collaboration, strengthen product maturity, and build a high-performing and engaged organization aligned with Maersk’s Logistics & Services growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Commercial Execution

  • Develop and execute regional business plans to deliver volume, revenue, and profitability targets for the LCL & CRM portfolio
  • Drive growth strategy execution across Pakistan, SAA and UAE in alignment with regional and global priorities
  • Promote and strengthen product value propositions with commercial teams and customers
  • Guide product solutioning and customer engagement strategies to meet evolving market and customer needs
  • Drive pricing strategy and commercial governance to achieve profitable growth across target customer segments
  • Strengthen product sales pipeline performance and improve conversion rates

Product Management & Financial Ownership

  • Own and manage the regional P&L performance of the LCL & CRM business
  • Monitor product performance across the region and implement corrective actions to optimize business outcomes
  • Govern and optimize cost-to-serve, including direct fixed and variable SG&A costs
  • Oversee product go-to-market initiatives and regional product positioning strategies
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy, governance, and operational discipline across the portfolio

Operational Excellence & Service Quality

  • Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve process efficiency, productivity and service reliability
  • Safeguard service quality standards and ensure delivery against customer commitments
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and CX stakeholders to improve customer outcomes and operational performance.

Digitalization & Transformation

  • Lead execution of product digitalization initiatives and automation roadmap to support scalable growth
  • Drive process simplification, data-driven decision-making, and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation to strengthen regional product competitiveness

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing product teams across the region
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer centricity and continuous improvement
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability building
  • Build and maintain an engaged, motivated, and performance-oriented organization

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management
  • Strong hands-on expertise in LCL product management and commercial logistics operations
  • Proven experience managing regional product P&L and driving business growth
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, product strategy and market expansion
  • Demonstrated success in operational excellence and transformation initiatives
  • Experience leading geographically diverse and cross-functional teams
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills
