B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1/ Develop Area Strategy and Pricing for Depot Services

• Develop the Area Depot strategy matching the Global Depot strategic guideline. Translate the Global/Regional strategy into a local plan to facilitate Depot product growth and meet customer needs.
• Provide alignment to area or country depot managers for depot development and design.
• Ensure the Area pricing process complies with Global governance
• Approve/reject escalations from Depot Managers in relation to additional Product Development in regard to the product cycle, including but not limited to P&L, business case, and overall solution.
• In charge of new Depot development.

2/ Business Development and Innovation

• In charge of the business development and the P&L of the area Depot business.
• Develop and monitor Area Depot targets (to be signed by Area Managing Director).
• Support sales management in establishing value proposition and sales channel target setting
• Manage depot performance in Area & ensure all targets are met.

3/ Manage Area Depot development and local IP cases

• In conjunction with procurement as required, establish contracts with key 3rd party vendors.
• Optimize the depot business through day-to-day asset and 3rd party management
• Develop the depot business both in terms of corridors and product features
• Facilitate Global / Regional solutions in Area by providing/developing relevant Local Services products upon request
• Establish business cases for asset investments supporting the local and global L&S strategy as well as accountable/measured on realization of the benefits of such business cases

4/ Growth Delivery

• Grow the business and bring to the desired blueprint stage
• Responsible for ensuring that developed products deliver on targets, NPS and that necessary controls are in place for the execution of that business (both financially, operationally and in terms of QHSSE)

5/ Establish team with Local Services expertise at Area level

• Build and develop team with strong logistics capabilities and product expertise
• Act as SMEs and support the Area Sales teams in large-scale pursuits and solution design, including customer visits as required
• Share best practices with Global and Local Services team

C. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Have at least 15 years of experience in running Container Depot/ICD businesses. Prefer candidates with experience in developing new ICD/Depots or warehouses.
• Have strong Depot Services expertise and understanding of Local customer needs (incl. vertical specifications).
• Have a strong strategic mindset and strong execution skills.
• Have strong P&L experience. Able to anticipate future product performance delivery and factor this into overall pricing strategy decisions.
• Ability to identify Customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data.
• Have a strong analytical and data-driven mindset with Solid planning skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Have strong motivational leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction
• Have strong stakeholder management skills.
