Area Analyst- L&S

Financial Planning & Analysis

•Analyze L&S product-level financial performance against budget, forecast, and KPIs, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities.•Develop and maintain financial forecasts, scenarios, and models to support short- and long-term planning and investment decisions.•Conduct variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear, data-driven explanations of performance movements.•Translate operational and commercial drivers into actionable financial insights to support decision-making by product and finance stakeholders.

Global Collaboration

•Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, CX, FinOps, Sales, and Controllers to ensure alignment between financial outcomes and operational performance.•Partner with global and regional stakeholders to drive consistency in assumptions, insights, and financial narratives across L&S products.•Support stakeholder discussions by providing relevant financial insights and contributing to informed decision-making.

Reporting & Performance Management

•Support the Maersk Way of performance management through contribution to Visual Management System (VMS) analysis.•Provide structured performance insights to highlight gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.•Participate in structured problem-solving sessions, leveraging data and financial analysis to address business challenges.•Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance, with clear and concise communication tailored to stakeholder needs.
