Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Financial Data integrity of books for respective Business Area/Entities.
- Ensure Policy Adherence along with Control and compliance.
- Ensure Quality and conduct performance analysis and suggest improvements areas for implementation
- Conduct GL scrutiny at regular interval and ensure Data Authenticity
- Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, identify probable financial exposures, and take appropriate actions
- Perform / Review monthly EBIT and provide explanation for significant variances.
- Perform / Review Trial Balance as part of monthly Book Close, and ensure correct and timely reporting (Capitalisation and Segmental)
- Understanding of IFRS/ Local GAAP for the relevant country/cluster and ensure compliance
- Manage/ Support all types of Audits (Statutory, Tax, Government, Internal, Group Audit etc.)
- Manage and lead a team, conduct periodic appraisals, have career discussions, perform career planning etc.
- Provide required functional and technical training to team
- Knowledge of preparing constructive recommendations for improvements to manage and control risk
- Identifying and assessing technology risks assumed by the business
- Participate/ contribute in global/ regional projects
- Manage stakeholder relationship and ensure their requirements are met timely
- Proven ability to influence without authority and engage confidently with leaders at all levels.
- Proactively providing end to end solution by Collaborating with other teams within organisation.
Who we are looking for:
- Professionally qualified – CA/ACCA/CIMA or close to completion
- Understanding of IFRS/ GAAP and adherence
- 8 -10 years’ experience in accounting and reporting with exposure to Audit and International Accounting.
- Strong analytical skill
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Transportation/Logistics industry experience would be an added advantage
