Job Description
Role:
1. Handle day to day administrative tasks for effective data management. This include premium & invoice payments and local policy issuance.
2. Assist Underwriters in ad hoc query handling from internal/external stakeholders for Marine Insurance/Property/General Liability/Freight Service Liability/Shippers Interest.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for collection, updating & maintenance of accurate data across various internal systems and platforms.
Support with document/certificates management.
Assisting in preparing reports for capturing addition/deletion of vessel, warehouses, offices etc.
Required experience & skills:
Fresh Maritime graduate /PG from approved Maritime Institute.
Knowledge on Insurance and Risk Management - Underwriting principles is preferred.
Effective communication skills ensuring clear, direct and appropriate communication at multiple organisation levels.
Strong interpersonal skills and persistent focus on long term business goals.
Highly result oriented, enjoy challenges and able to work under pressure to meet urgent deadlines.
Proactive problem-solving ability with analytical thought process.
Strong proficiency in English both orally and written.
Behavioural Skills
Demonstrable ability to work under supervision and deliver business expectations.
Performance minded with a strong strive to deliver results.
Strategic and business supportive mind-set (understanding commercial and legal priorities).
