Air Operations Specialist

We are looking for “Air Operations Specialist” to efficiently manage and oversee the movement of goods by air, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. This includes coordination with clients, vendors, customs, and carriers to facilitate timely and accurate delivery of shipments while maintaining cost-efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Airfreight Operations (Export & Import) shipments, coordinating with overseas offices, agents, and air carriers to ensure optimal routing.
- Prepare and verify all critical paperwork, including airway bills, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and insurance certificates.
- Oversee customs clearance for imports and ensure export compliance to avoid delays or penalties.
- Proactively monitor shipment status, arrival, and release, facilitating smooth delivery to final destinations.
- Act as the primary point of contact, providing updates and resolving inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, customs authorities, and third-party vendors.
- Adhere to rates provided by Air Procurement team and verify freight invoices to ensure alignment with agreed-upon pricing.
- Maintain accurate transaction records according to corporate and regulatory guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on international trade laws, HS codes, and airfreight industry shifts.
Who We Are Looking For
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs processes, incoterms, and tariff classifications.
- Proficiency in airfreight management systems and logistics tools.
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods (DG) handling and compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional stakeholder management.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve logistics challenges under pressure.
- Open to travel.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
