Accounts Receivable LNS Collector Specialist - Gabon

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle statement queries and collection from the customers.
  • The Account Recievable specialist should ensure the payments are applied on time and correctly.
  • Ensure that a daily reconciliation is made on the payments received from customers and uploaded in the Collection webtool.
  • Make weekly reconciliation on the different accounts and the corresponding system balance and clearing aged outstanding items.
  • Following up the dunning policy.
  • Sharing detailed analysis of the outstanding on a weekly basis along with actions to be taken for clearing.

Outstanding Follow-up

  • Dispatch reconciled statement together with the invoices to the customer.
  • timously sending reconciled statement of accounts from customers or other stake holders.
  • Handle customer disputes in coordination with relevant desk to ensure the issue is resolved.
  • Follow up with payment application team/Bank to ensure all payments received from the customer are correctly and timely applied.
  • Monitor Bounced checks

Credit Review & Analysis

  • Monitor customers who exceed their credit terms in a timely manner and ensure appropriate follow up is taken by sales/collections teams and as per dunning Policy.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation (Country/cluster specific).
  • Ensure all credit reviews are completed prior to credit expiration and ensure zero risk for audit findings as a result of expired credit terms being continued.

Communication Skills

  • Support the standardization of global collections process and ensure clear
    communication of relevant processes with cluster stakeholders.
  • Be able to make sound decisions supported by facts and data available through banks, financial reports, and historical behaviors with the group and credit bureau information.
  • Ensure all credit processes are completed accurately with high attention to detail and where necessary, relevant level of additional investigation.

Who are we looking for?

  • A relevant Finance qualification
  • 3 years of experience in a finance-focused role
  • Proven ability to communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in English
