Accounting Professional – Nordic Accounting Team, Maersk L&S Sweden

We are looking for an Accounting Professional to join our Nordic Accounting team, supporting the Customs business in Sweden within ERP Visma.

In this role, you act as the local finance owner overseeing services delivered by the Global Service Center (GSC), ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business objectives.

You will monitor GSC performance against SLAs and KPIs, maintaining accountability without direct task execution.
You will also drive financial controlling activities, ensuring accuracy of financials, accruals, reconciliations, and compliance with local regulations.

As the key liaison, you will manage communication between stakeholders and GSC, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective service delivery. And you will lead performance reviews, drive continuous improvement, and standardize processes across Sweden and the Nordics.

A key focus of the role is finance transformation and project delivery.
You will play a central role in initiatives such as rebanking, cash pool standardization, customs reconciliation module implementation, and Telikos deployment.
You will support SG&A cost transition into SAP and actively contribute to SAP implementation, ensuring finance requirements are embedded from design to execution.
You will ensure smooth operational integration while safeguarding control, compliance, and reporting integrity.

The role includes strengthening RICC controls and driving GRC governance as part of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
You will support audit readiness, oversee key process changes, and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, standardized, and efficient finance processes.

This role suits a proactive finance professional with strong controlling, governance, and transformation capabilities, and the ability to drive results through others.

We are looking for

  • Advanced Excel and BI platform experience
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and support decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills in English & one of the Scandinavian languages
