Job Description

THE GOAL

As the Head of Operations for our Shopping Malls Concept you’ll be part of the Group Mall Development Department. You will be at the forefront of leading the operation of scale out of Malls across the group, the structure of the malls & production line. Maintaining the relationship with & tenders with the landlords

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Department: Business Development - Malls

Reporting to: Pedro Coelho

Working with: Shared services, Malls, Landlords

Travel involved

Travel as and when required mainly in Iberia and some occasional requirement to travel to locations in Europe.

WHAT THEY DO

Innovation & Product Development:

  • Stakeholder manage the expectations of retailers to ensure the concept is successful and there is pipeline potential,
  • Support the developers in negotiate excellent, competitive margins with Landlords
  • Create an attractive business model that will attract the most talented Franchisees.
  • Create lean systems and workflows to optimise productivity and minimise labour cost.
  • Production flow analysis and recommendation
  • Conduct the implementation of the procedures related to the: customer journey, more engaging experiences, marketing campaigns, production workflow, kiosk design.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Experience in developing Sushi products & reengineering Menus is ideal
  • Operational procedures & Scale the business at pace to create a successful profitable business.
  • Coordinate the different departments to ensure the production plans are in operation for each store to ensure maximum sales are achieved.

Operate in a clear and transparent way.

Be hands on and a very present and visible figure in the stores, following up the implementation in stores

WHO THEY ARE

  • Fluent in English, Spanish & any other European language. Experience in developing successful food concepts (ideally in malls).
  • Previous experience in Business Development/ Sales or as a lease manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Experience in FMCG (minimum 3yrs +)
  • Proven track record of delivery of high quality, sustainable and commercial concepts that are scaled.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and prioritise self and the team accordingly.
  • Ability to use Microsoft and Google suite of software.
  • Experience in scaling Mall food concepts

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to envision the future of compelling new concepts
  • A deep understanding of Food malls concept
  • Ability to effectively problem solve and stay agile in a fast-paced environment.
