Job Description

Jitter, an indie dev studio is redefining how streamers and their audiences interact by turning live streams into interactive game experiences. Check out some of the latest examples!

We’re building a platform where Twitch viewers don’t just watch—they play a meaningful role in shaping the action. From chaotic, chat-controlled gameplay to streamer-driven challenges, Jitter enhances engagement, drives virality, and creates new revenue opportunities for creators.

Imagine streamers seamlessly hosting interactive worlds, viewers collaborating or competing in real time, and audiences influencing gameplay like never before.

We want you to help us build the future of live, interactive gaming!

Your Opportunity

As our Technical Artist, you’ll bring our chaotic, audience-driven worlds to life. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and implementing the visual elements that make Jitter’s gameplay fun, clear, and visually distinct—whether that’s characters, cosmetics, environments, or interactive game assets.

Working closely with engineers and technical designs, you’ll create assets optimised for Unreal Engine, ensuring they’re performant, scalable, and align with Jitter’s playful, streamer-first aesthetic.

You will:

  • Design, model, and rig character avatars, including dynamic cosmetics and customisations.

  • Design and implement engaging level assets for level design, ensuring environments enhance both gameplay clarity and moments of chaos.

  • Build cosmetics, skins, emotes, and playful visual rewards for players and streamers.

  • Collaborate on Technical Art tasks including material creation, optimisation, and Unreal Engine Blueprints setup.

  • Work closely with the Technical Designer and engineering teams to implement and optimise art assets for real-time, multiplayer gameplay.

  • Ensure assets meet performance standards and maintain consistency with the game’s art direction.

  • Take the lead on world-building level design and overall visual style, helping shape the look and feel of Jitter’s interactive experience.

Why You're Made for This:

  • Generalist Art Skills: Proficiency in character design, rigging, asset creation, lighting, and level art.

  • Technical Art Experience: Solid understanding of Unreal Engine workflows, Blueprints, and material systems.

  • Cosmetic Creation: Experience designing fun, bold, and rewarding cosmetics for players and streamers.

  • Environment & Level Design: Ability to create compelling worlds and environments that serve gameplay and audience engagement.

  • Problem-Solver: Comfort working in a fast-paced, experimental environment where iteration and scrappiness are key.

  • Collaborative & Adaptable: Willing to wear multiple hats and work closely with a small, passionate team.

  • Growth Mindset: You’re excited to learn, iterate, and evolve with the game and studio.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience creating visual effects (VFX) or animation in Unreal Engine.

  • Familiarity with Twitch, streamer culture, or audience-driven gaming.

  • Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques for real-time multiplayer games.

  • Experience building stylised, fun, and chaotic worlds that complement social gameplay.

While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply.
