Are you ready to embark on an adventurous journey and explore the world of HEINEKEN? We are excited to announce the launch of our Global Graduate Program – designed to fast-track your career and develop you into a future leader at one of the world’s most renowned brands.

About the Program:
Our Global Graduate Program is a three-year path which consists of three rotations, each lasting six months, and will take place within your chosen area: Star Pubs. After the rotations, you’ll have the opportunity to spend the next 18 months working in a role within your home operating company in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

  • Rotation 1: Set off in the HEINEKEN operating company of application in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Here, you’ll gain a solid foundation in your specific function and an understanding of our operations, strategy, and culture.

  • Rotation 2: Continue in Edinburgh, United Kingdom of application with a cross-functional assignment, widening your perspective and understanding of different business areas and how they interconnect.

  • Rotation 3: Broaden your horizons with an international assignment, enhancing your global mindset and cultural adaptability.

  • Landing Role: Now you’ve got all the tools, it’s time for you to apply what you’ve learnt in a management position within your country of application, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Every day will offer an opportunity to continue your growth and development.

About Star Pubs

Step into the heart of HEINEKEN UK’s Star Pubs business and play your part in supporting one of the strongest pub estates in the country. With around 2,400 pubs across the UK, you’ll help strengthen a great British tradition and support pubs that sit at the centre of their local communities.

As a Graduate in Star Pubs, you’ll work with teams to bring out the best in the great British Pub, building an understanding of how we invest in pubs, and partner with great licensees and operators to build long-term, sustainable businesses. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting licensees and operators with the tools, insight, and guidance they need to run successful pubs, working closely with regional teams to understand investments, standards, and what makes each pub thrive. You’ll see how we build strong relationships with licensees and operators, helping them deliver great experiences for their locals, and develop an understanding of the commercial performance behind a well-run pub and how to influence it.

You’ll be part of a team that cares about people, account management, and the difference that pubs make. If you want to contribute to a future where you can bring out the best in the great British pub, this programme gives you the experience, support, and exposure to make it happen.

Criteria & Conditions:

  • Education: minimum Bachelor's degree in business management or similar

  • Work Experience: No specific previous work experience is required! But we are looking specifically for new graduates. That’s a maximum of 2 years post-graduation.

  • Languages: English language is essential.

  • Work Rights: The right to work in the country of your program is essential for the duration of the program.

  • Travel Flexibility: Global exploration can’t happen from home! We require all Explorers to be fully globally mobile.

How to Apply & the Selection Process

  1. Application Submission:

  1. Upload your CV and cover letter through our application portal. Application period is from November 24th Nov – 8th Dec 2025, and applications without cover letters will not be accepted.

  1. Online Assessments:

  1. Take the online assessments. They will be based on situational behaviour scenarios, so no need to prepare anything in advance. A cognitive test is also part of the online assessment. 19th Dec – 2nd Jan 2026

  1. Interviews:

  1. Upon completing the online assessments, we will be in touch to let you know if your application has been successful. You will then be invited for two interviews. We’re aiming to hold these around 12th – 24th Jan 2026

  1. Assessment Centre:

  1. Then it’s time for the in-person assessment centre, where you will participate in various activities and evaluations. We’re planning this for 11th Feb 2026.

Application tips:

  • Include a cover letter with your application

  • List the modules you studied on your CV. We want to understand what you've learned and where you've focused your efforts during your degree

  • We know AI tools are part of daily life. You're welcome to use them with care, but keep your cover letter and CV authentic. Let your own voice come through

This is a global graduate position, which means you'll relocate to another country where HEINEKEN operates as part of your rotation. We'll select your placement location based on business needs and development opportunities.

If there are any countries where you're unable to work or travel, please let the Talent Acquisition team know as soon as possible during your application process. We'll work with you to understand your situation.
