Manager, Health, Business Consulting

Position Overview:

EY is experiencing an increasing demand for its Health consulting expertise. We are seeking to expand our team of skilled and experienced Manager who are already delivering impact and value for our health clients across the UK or Ireland.

The successful candidate will work directly and in partnership with our clients to understand their business needs and lead the design and delivery of transformation in health and care services. We are particularly looking for individuals with a passion and focus on:

• Transformational Productivity and Operational Improvement
• Financial Sustainability
• Large scale national or complex Transformation and Digital enabled programmes
• Care system re-design to include Corporate Service transformation, Workforce transformation and future Operating Model development
• Digital Healthcare to include Data Analytics and AI.

Working collaboratively within multi-practice EY teams, this role will be critical in designing solution sets and helping to bring the best of EY's capabilities to the health sector. As a growing health practice, we act as advocates for EY’s values, promoting our high-quality brand and showcasing our expertise across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as delivery lead working as part of a delivery team on consulting projects within the healthcare sector, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients and taking a role in developing client relationships to understand their needs and help develop tailored solutions on healthcare transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to pursuits as part of a wider bid team, helping drive the team to develop and design solutions and respond effectively to tenders.
• Contribute to broader business development pursuits and solution development to drive growth in the UK Health Practice.
• Support analysis of healthcare systems, policies, and practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Lead workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagements to gather insights and drive consensus on project objectives and outcomes.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform consulting strategies and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant health related subject or a related field or equivalent experience.

• Professional services experience in a healthcare context.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK healthcare trends in the UK.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, policies, and operational challenges in the UK.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects and delivering results for clients.
• Experience of working with stakeholder across the healthcare landscape to include, Clinicians and operational teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a good understanding of healthcare data and intelligence solutions..
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies is a plus.

Location:

• This role is based in London or one our EY’s regional offices. National travel will be required as will travel to our EY Headquarters.
