Job Description
Warehouse Site Leader (Deliveroo HOP)
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for a Warehouse Site Leader to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the beating heart of our daily operations, ensuring our customers receive their essentials at lightning speed.
Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Deliveroo HOP team. HOP is our speedy grocery delivery service, and our Site Leaders are essential to the smooth running of our local stores, working closely with management to maximise customer satisfaction.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Drive Operational Flow: Supervise the end-to-end order process, ensuring all items are picked on time and coordinating with riders to guarantee prompt deliveries.
Manage Store Cycles: Take ownership of store openings and closures, maintaining a clean, tidy, and hazard-free warehouse environment at all times.
Oversee Inventory & Logistics: Manage the shipping area, oversee the scanning of deliveries, and ensure all inventory counts are accurate across all zones.
Maintain Quality Standards: Process incoming deliveries according to procedure, focusing on product positioning accuracy and strict date rotation.
Collaborate for Success: Partner with the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager to address challenges and consistently hit site performance targets.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Italian; basic English is considered a plus.
Operational Experience: Proven ability to achieve performance targets, ideally within a similar warehouse or fast-paced retail environment.
Reliability & Flexibility: Willingness to work 40-hour shifts per week with the hourly flexibility required for a 7-day operation.
Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with riders and team members to ensure seamless site functioning.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing inventory, date rotations, and recording complaints or delivery discrepancies.
