Site Associate
Location: Acton
Working pattern: 15 hours per week | Shift-based (Site hours between 7:00 AM – 4:30 AM)
Pay: £13.83 per hour (20% uplift for hours worked after 10:00 PM)
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Site Operations team powers the physical side of our marketplace through HOP (our rapid grocery delivery service) and Editions (our network of delivery-only kitchens). From launching new sites to ensuring operational excellence across markets, we combine retail and hospitality expertise with operational rigour. If you thrive in hands-on environments and want to help redefine how food and groceries reach customers—come join us on the ground.
We’re looking for a Site Associate to join our Acton team. In this role, you’ll help us maintain a high-standard environment for our restaurant partners and ensure orders move seamlessly from kitchen to rider.
Get to know our Site Operations team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Editions team. Editions is our pioneering "dark kitchens" business, partnering with brands like Wagamama and Starbucks to connect them with hungry customers through delivery-only hubs.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Maintain Site Excellence: Execute regular deep cleaning of equipment and communal areas to ensure health and safety standards are always met.
Support Dispatch Operations: Run food from partner kitchens to the dispatch area and communicate effectively with riders to ensure fast delivery.
Partner Support: Manage the "pot wash" and keep kitchen equipment clean and ready for use to help our restaurant partners stay efficient.
Operational Safety: Participate in regular site checks with the management team to identify and resolve safety or cleanliness issues.
Problem Solving: Identify bottlenecks in daily tasks and make recommendations to improve the flow of the site.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
A Positive, Can-Do Attitude: You bring energy to the team and are driven to learn new skills.
Reliability: You take pride in your punctuality and being a teammate others can count on.
Adaptability: You are comfortable working autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team.
Attention to Detail: You have a high standard for cleanliness and safety.
Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working alongside diverse partners and solving problems in real-time.
