Job Description

Join us, be part of more.

We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels, whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Crime Due Diligence Manager to join our Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Ethics & Compliance and Secretariat (LRECS) function.

In this role, you'll lead Centrica's Financial Crime Due Diligence (FCDD) function, ensuring robust oversight of financial crime risks across our third-party relationships and supporting the business in meeting its regulatory and legal obligations.

As the Group's subject matter expert for financial crime due diligence, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to shape standards, strengthen controls and embed best practice.

Location: Ideally you'll be within commuting distance and able to travel to our Windsor office (until December 2026) and Reading office (from January 2027) when required. We're also open to considering candidates based elsewhere across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, develop and manage the Group Financial Crime Due Diligence team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Own and continually enhance FCDD procedures, standards and quality assurance processes across Centrica.
  • Provide oversight of third-party onboarding, reviews and monitoring activity, ensuring governance requirements are consistently met.
