Your main responsibilities

You will work in close collaboration with other traders and analysts at our Power & Gas Trading desks (based in Singapore, but in touch with traders located in Aalborg & Copenhagen, Denmark).

Your responsibilities will include

Supporting trading activities in the European power/gas markets. Monitoring trading activities to discover and eliminate operational risks. Assisting traders with data validation and various ad hoc projects. Assisting in trading/market analysis and identifying trading opportunities in established and emerging markets. Helping to build quantitative models to capture market opportunities and improve understanding of supply/demand drivers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Economics or STEM preferred

• Previous experience in trading is a plus

• Proficient in Excel, programming skills (VBA/Python/R)

• Work as a team player and on your own – the members of our team depend on each other

• You are focused on details and have a result-orientated mindset

Practical information

Penultimate year students preferred.

Start date: Summer 2024 Full-Time (May 2024 - Aug 2024) + Part-Time Q3 - Q4 2024 (2-3 days). Start date is flexible.
