About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager – .NET to lead multiple squads of .NET engineers responsible for building, deploying, and operating cloud‑native services on AWS. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong people management, solid architectural thinking, and prior experience in .NET-based enterprise systems.
The role has a strong focus on team leadership, service stability, production operations, and engineering quality. A good understanding of AI architecture and hands‑on exposure to AI‑assisted development tools is mandatory.
What you’ll be doing
Engineering & Technical Leadership
Lead and manage multiple squads of .NET developers delivering backend and platform services.
Drive system design decisions following microservices architecture and AWS cloud design patterns.
Provide architectural guidance on scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
Leverage past hands‑on .NET / C# development experience to guide teams effectively.
Champion clean code, design patterns, automated testing, and API‑first development.
Cloud, DevOps & Platform Ownership
Own AWS deployments with strong oversight of EKS, MSK, and RDS.
Partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD, IaC, observability, and release automation.
Ensure stable rollouts across SIT, Pre‑Prod, and Production.
Service Operations & Production Stability
Own production stability, incident management, RCA, and resilience practices.
AI & Engineering Productivity
Apply AI architecture thinking and promote AI-based developer productivity tools.
People & Delivery Management
Manage cross‑functional Dev, Ops, QA, and vendor teams.
Drive performance management, coaching, and delivery predictability.
Quality Management & Governance
Own quality metrics, dashboards, and QMS adherence.
