Security Sales Specialist

Objectives

Sales Specialist is an important role within our sales community and will work with the global and regional account teams to proactively identify and qualify new security opportunities, work on the pipeline of existing opportunities and develop business focused on the security services and wider BT Security portfolio.

The role holder will work as part of the Global Security Sales Specialist team in an international environment supporting both global and Spanish customers.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for prospecting and closing complex sales of BT Security portfolio for our key Regional accounts in Spain but also in Regional Europe, covering the following areas:

  • Design and integration of security solutions (Build)
  • Operational maintenance (Run)
  • Governance, Risk and Compliance (GR&C)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Cyber Security (CyberSOC)
  • Ethical hacking (pentesting, penetration testing)

Manage BT's security roadmap for each customer, in conjunction with Global Account Managers, as part of an overall account strategy based on a long-term partnership approach. Retaining existing customers is vital to the business, while attracting new customers is a strategic priority.

Analyse the needs of existing and potential customers and build strong relationships with their decision makers

Contribute to the development of technical and commercial responses in close collaboration with various teams (pre-sales team, legal experts, etc.)

Experience we would like you to have

5 years of experience in selling Security services and products

Language requirements

Fluency in English and Spanish required
