Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you will be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

About the role
BT Group is one of the most critical of all UK Critical National Infrastructure.
Our job is simple - protect critical national infrastrature, contributing to teams who are committed to the safety and security of our nation and global communities.
This job role is based in London. Onsite (5 days office based). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
What you’ll be doing
- Leads and executes product quality strategies for BT’s service offerings and products, designing test strategies for business-critical initiatives and developmentAccountability 2
- Executes a range of testing activities inclusive of test case creation, diagnostics and test data strategy for a portfolio, and is accountable for first/second level diagnostics enabling test delivery to time, cost, quality across multiple workstreams
- Leads the full lifecycle integration testing to support complex projects to define and drive the deliverables required
- Contributes to the design and development of test automation solutions that validate the functionality of applications
- Delivers complex analysis to understand the impacts and causes of defects and issues, driving the team of QA analysts to investigate, identify and define advanced solutions
- Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in QA engineering best practices and industry standards
- Mentors other QA engineers, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resource

- Functional /Non-Functional Testing
- Test Management tooling experience such as JIRA, Confluence, XRAY
- Ansible coding experience
- Experience with automated test tools
- OSI model awareness
- Experience of working on complex large scale programmes
Desirable Skills / Experience
- ISTQB certification
- Support team and programme culture in a positive and cohesive manner
