
Partnerships Manager (Software vendors)

About the role
The Partnerships Manager drives a team to commercial innovation through partnerships, ensures the seamless delivery of partnership commitments, defines go to market approach, and positions BT Group as a key partner across the globe.
The role will drive depth and breadth with around key strategic software partners. Focussing on building relational contracts that accelerate BT’s Digital transformation and create longer term value for the business. The role will support the partners in identifying value creation for BT’s customers and colleagues through their digital experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the development and delivery of BT Group partnership strategy, driving growth, value and performance across a portfolio of vendors
- Own end-to-end commercial and operational management of partners, covering performance, risk, regulatory, legal and security considerations
- Hold partners to account against agreed KPIs, proactively resolving issues and driving improved performance and value outcomes
- Identify, develop and deliver opportunities for productivity improvements, growth and cost savings across partner relationships
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key partners, creating long-term, sustainable value for customers and the business
- Lead performance tracking and insight, using data to produce clear reporting and inform decision-making at senior level
- Ensure effective contract lifecycle management, including variations, amendments and commercial negotiations
- Drive continuous improvement across partnership management processes, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure services are fit-for-purpose and deliver value
Essential Skills / Experience
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on contractual compliance and ensuring partners meet agreed obligations
- Excellent stakeholder management, building and maintaining relationships while leading negotiations to deliver solutions aligned to business and technical needs
- Ability to operate across complex, multi-CFU environments, driving collaboration, alignment and outcomes across a wide range of teams
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Excellent communicator, able to engage and influence senior leaders across Digital and external partners
- Data-driven mindset, building sustainable solutions to manage, analyse and provide accessible, self-serve insights for stakeholders
