Why this job matters

Network Services is establishing an end-to-end contract lifecycle management (CLM) function to ensure rigor and compliance for over £500m of contract spend, with the goal of reducing contract and value leakage. To achieve this, the CLM team requires an Insights Manager who will lead a contract data team to generates commercial insights that provide opportunities for savings, efficiencies, and continuous improvements to meet the high-quality standards expected by our customers.
The Insights Manager manages a team of data professionals, developing and delivering insights that empower the acceleration and accuracy of decision making within the Strategy & PMO sphere, contributing to the group’s top strategic priorities and driving measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

1. Enables an insight-driven decision making process, driven by contract insights and analytics and powered by a variety of technology.

2. Utilises analytics to map internal needs against contract terms, supporting the development of a Partnership/Category plan and the future supplier relationship strategy.

3. SPOC for In-Life Partner Management to develop an AI Contract Insights tool ensuring it’s effectiveness and longevity by co-ordinating all CLM tool conversations across the orgainsation

4. Responsible for contract data cleansing, AI tooling readiness and creating standard operating procedures and processes to maintain consistency across the team.

5. Ensures a sustainable process to verify the accuracy of data generated by AI tools for contract insights and interpret these outputs to enhance commercial and operational performance.

6. Facilitates the provision of contract insights and compliance priorities, contributing to comprehensive views of Network Services that enhance the understanding of third-party contract performance and business requirements.

7. Applies a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to convert multiple data points into commercial insight programs.

8. Oversees the development and assessment of AI analytical tools designed to enhance efficiency and expand capacity.

9. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the area of Insight creation.

Experience you’d be expected to have
