About the role
As a Finance Analyst / Partner, you will support the consumer finance team in providing clear financial insight across marketing, brand, home and mobile areas. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and partner teams to help manage labour costs, support wider operating expenditure activity, and contribute to effective financial decision-making.
You will join a small consumer finance team made up of 4 Finance Analysts / Partners supporting senior stakeholders across key commercial areas. The team works across marketing, brand, mobile, and home, combining ownership of specific financial areas with shared support across the broader operating expenditure picture. This role offers exposure to a collaborative team environment with opportunities to build capability through varied business partnering activity.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with stakeholders to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis across assigned business areas.
- Manage and present labour cost information, working closely with HR business partners and senior leaders.
- Support month-end activity, including templates, reporting inputs, and tracking of financial performance.
- Assist with purchase order approvals and help maintain strong financial control across operating expenditure.
- Contribute to smaller areas of non-staff OPEX management based on business needs and individual capability.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider finance team to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insight.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience in finance, financial analysis, or business partnering roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence using them in a business environment.
- Ability to interpret financial information and communicate it clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A finance qualification is not essential, but candidates should demonstrate financial literacy and a genuine interest in developing within finance.
- Experience with SAP or another financial management system would be useful, though training can be provided.
