Job Description
About the role
- This role sits within the Finance Planning, Reporting and Control (FPRC) Tower in Group Finance Shared Services (GFSS).
- You will support planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis activities for defined contracts, products or business units.
- You will be responsible for controlling, processing, and consolidating monthly results and forecasts. Additionally, you will undertake key project activities and liaise with the sub-unit(s) / center team for your respective Business Units.
What you will be doing (Role Accountabilities)
- Prepare and consolidate monthly financial results in line with IFRS / GAAP.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and medium-term planning.
- Perform month-end close activities.
- Analyze revenue and cost drivers and provide variance commentary.
- Support audits and internal controls.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to finance transformation through simplification and standardisation efforts
What you’ll need to succeed (Skills & Experience)
Essential
- Qualified accountant or finance professional with relevant post‑qualification experience, preferably within a multinational or shared service environment.
- Experience in financial results delivery, including month‑end close, variance analysis and management reporting.
- Good working knowledge of IFRS / GAAP, group reporting and multi‑entity environments.
- Hands‑on experience in forecasting, budgeting, planning and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non‑finance stakeholders.
- Experience supporting internal controls, governance and audit requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
- Experience working in large multinational, captive or shared service organisations.
- Experience managing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at senior manager level.
- Prior exposure to regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks and audit processes.
- Telco product and industry knowledge
- Experience using ERP and reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Business Warehouse or similar tools.
- Hands‑on experience with Power Pivot, Power Query and data automation or reporting enhancement tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive data‑led decision‑making in a fast‑paced environment.
