What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Claims Adjuster, you’ll manage Brit Bermuda’s claims portfolio that consists of both short and long tail casualty and property lines of businesses. The role involves both the adjustment of a range of both standard and complex claims within the Property and Casualty divisions and the general management of the Brit Bermuda claims portfolio, assisting the Head of Bermuda by reporting on developments in the book of business. You’ll be required to deal with various stakeholders on resolving claims issues and disputes, effectively liaising with brokers and third parties in the adjustment of claims in line with company strategy and regulatory and legal compliance.

In this role you’ll have the autonomy to be strategic and bring new concepts and ideas to Bermuda Claims, implementing where appropriate. On top of this, you’ll be able to tailor and improve existing methods to new and emerging technologies and practices. You’ll be empowered to make effective and decisive decisions when dealing with highly complex technical claims that are within the role holder’s individual authority levels, as well as facilitate the resolution of investigations into indemnity and coverage issues and implement changes to process in line with strategy for specific classes of business.
