What you’ll be doing

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure a warm and professional welcome for all visitors.

You'll also provide top-notch hospitality services for meetings and events within a corporate environment. Your key responsibilities include greeting visitors and making everyone feel welcome and attended to.

You'll be responsible for keeping all service areas set up to the required standard. Additionally, you'll handle catering services for breakfast, lunch, and events. You'll ensure that all meeting rooms are up to standard in accordance with meeting room requirements.

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining premium standards are essential aspects of this role.

You'll work closely with the team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. A friendly and helpful attitude towards employees and visitors is crucial. Maintaining hospitality areas in a clean and tidy condition, in line with the company’s Hygiene, Health, and Safety policies, is also part of the job.

You'll assist with the preparation and serving of all hospitality and beverages, always ensuring great customer service. You must follow company hygiene and safety policies and adhere to COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations.

Additionally, you'll assist with ordering and deliveries as required and report any faults promptly to the designated person.

The role includes attending training courses and company meetings as needed. Flexibility is key, as you'll need to be prepared to change work methods and departments to ensure smooth operations. You'll carry out reasonable management requests and must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime during events, provided notice is given.

Irregular duties include reporting any incidents of fire, accident, or theft immediately. You'll also report and take action on customer compliments or complaints and attend necessary meetings and training courses.

We are located in the Leadenhall Building on Leadenhall Street (EC3V 4AB) and are situated on floors 17, 18, and 39. All of our floors are accessible by lift, and there are building staff on hand to point you in the right direction.
The closest train / underground / DLR links are: Liverpool Street Station (7 mins), Bank Station (6 mins), Fenchurch Street Station (6 mins), Aldgate Station (7 mins).

The nearest bus stop is St Mary Axe (Stop LR or Z), which is located just outside the building.
