How You’ll Make An Impact

As the Technical Lead for our Developer Tooling team, you’ll own the design, implementation, and evolution of the internal platforms and automation that drive developer productivity across engineering. You’ll partner with Product, QA, Security, and Cloud teams to embed DevOps best practices, accelerate delivery, and ensure a world-class developer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a team of software engineers, setting technical direction, conducting architecture reviews, and fostering growth.
  • Design and Build internal tools and frameworks that streamline developer workflows, enforce standards, and surface key metrics (e.g., DORA).
  • Automate and Scale CI/CD pipelines using Harness, Jenkins, or comparable platforms, reducing manual toil and improving release confidence.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code, authoring and maintaining reusable modules in Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Provision and Operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/ECS) to support parallel testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Socialize architectural decisions, and work with stakeholders to roadmap new capabilities.
  • Measure and Optimize DevOps performance (lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR), identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.

The Experience You Bring

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 1+ years leading technical teams.
  • Proven ability to make sound technology decisions in a fast-changing business context, and to communicate trade-offs clearly.
  • Deep expertise with Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation (or equivalent).
  • Strong track record building and operating CI/CD pipelines (Harness, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Solid programming skills in one or more of: Java, Python, Go, or C.
  • Experience provisioning and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Familiarity with DORA metrics and quality engineering best practices.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in SaaS (AWS) environments and multi-tenant architectures.
  • Hands-on exposure to observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and security automation.
  • Background working in Agile/Scrum teams and championing continuous delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—able to communicate to junior engineers and senior leadership at the same time.
