V&V Engineer
Job Location: Adelaide or Melbourne – This is an onsite opportunity and 9 day fortnight working arrangement can be considered.

Role Description:
Reporting to the JORN System V&V Lead, you will be working in a small and dedicated team that works in collaboration with other teams across the JORN program.
To support rapid system deployment, you will be developing risk-based verification strategies. You will be developing and executing test procedures for formal verification of the mission system, and methods to validate the effectiveness of the support system.
Core Duties:
- Planning, authoring and execution of formal verification activities for JORN mission system
- Planning and conduct of support system validation activities
- Contribution to formal test events
- Capture and resolution of problem reports applicable to test events
- Work closely with systems engineers and integration teams, with potential crossover of duties.
- Some out of hours work may be required
- Some opportunity for domestic travel
Essential Skills:
- A University degree level engineering qualification preferably within a Systems, Electronics, Software or Mechatronics discipline
- Experience with the Jazz suite
- Experience in test procedure development and execution
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment or autonomously
- Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables
- Defence security clearance NV1 or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
