Technical Project Manager (ICT Network)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (ICT Network) to lead the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of complex Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and network infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong project management capabilities combined with deep technical expertise in enterprise networking, telecommunications, data centers, cloud connectivity, and digital infrastructure solutions. This role is responsible for managing large-scale ICT projects, coordinating multi-displianary technical teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution while meeting business, operational, security, and scheduling objectives. Key Responsibilities • Project Management • Lead end-to-end delivery of ICT network infrastructure projects through initiation through closure including test and commissioning. • Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and change requests. • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, providing regular status reporting to the program management team. • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. • Technical Leadership • Manage the deployment of city-wide enterprise network infrastructures • Collaborate with network architects, engineers, cybersecurity teams, cloud specialists, and infrastructure teams to ensure technical requirements are properly addressed and executed. • Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, subcontractors/vendors, and end customers. • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for senior management. • Risk, Compliance & Governance • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Oversee system testing, acceptance processes, and operational readiness activities. • Establish quality assurance measures to ensure successful delivery of outcomes. • Vendor & Resource Management • Manage third-party ICT vendors, contractors, consultants, and service providers. • Monitor vendor performance, contract deliverables, and project outcomes. • Coordinate internal and external project resources effectively.

Requirements

Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. • Master’s degree (Good to have). Certification • PMP (Project Management Professional) • Cisco CCNP or CCIE Experience • 10+ years of experience in the field of ICT networks. • 5+ years of experience in project management for ICT network projects. • Experience managing timelines, multi-site, and cross-functional project teams in city-wide ICT network projects. Technical Knowledge • Strong understanding of: • Enterprise Network Architecture • Routing and Switching Technologies • SD-WAN Solutions • Wireless Networks (Wi-Fi) • Data Center Infrastructure • Cloud Networking (Azure, Google Cloud) • Network Security Technologies • Fiber Optic Infrastructure • Structured Cabling Systems • Telecommunications Technologies • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity • Project Management Expertise • Expert knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
