TEAM LEAD TRAINING SYSTEMS SUPPORT

Role Description:
We have an exciting opportunity within Hunter Class LOB, leading and training instructional designers supporting Whole of Ship, Combat System, and Platform Systems Training Teams.
In this role, you will lead the administration, configuration, and day to day operation of Training Systems applications, including the Training Management System (TMS), Learning Management System (LMS), Authoring, Development and Delivery Toolsets, and Technologies including VR and Simulation.
Core Duties:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Training Systems guides, work instructions, and process documentation, ensuring alignment with governance framework
- Oversee instructional design activities to ensure training products align with training analysis outcomes, approved design standards, and governance requirements
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration baselines in alignment with the Training Systems governance framework
- Support delivery of training outputs and configuration management activities to ensure Training Systems integrity and availability
- Produce accurate and timely Training Systems data outputs to support training metrics and reporting, in support of the Training Systems & Governance Manager
- Develop, maintain, and apply Training Systems data management plans to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and auditability
- Establish, implement, and maintain the SQEP framework for Training Systems roles
- Provide Training Systems technical advice and supporting evidence to the Facilities & Training Equipment Lead, including systems, network infrastructure, and training equipment requirements derived from training analysis and design activities
- Quarterly requirement of travel interstate to attend workshops with Customer and meet Team
Essential Skills:
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
