About the OPPORTUNITY
We have a great opportunity for a Change Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Change Manager, this role is responsible for assisting the Change Manager to ensure that the quality, cost and schedule goals associated with assigned projects are achieved in accordance with the contractual and company requirements, to deliver required business goals. The Change Officer will manage the end-to-end change process and deliverables across supply chain, including managing processes, tracking, reporting, funding, meetings and lead continuous improvement initiatives, by liaising and collaborating with various project stakeholders.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia such as a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. This role will be based in our Osborne Shipyard office in Adelaide SA
Key responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to achieve joint outcomes and deliverables
- Work to established key performance indicators, including timely completion of impact assessments, and delivering to quality, time and cost objectives.
- Manage and accurately record, measure and report on the volume and cost of change
- Support the effective execution of change embodiment
- Identifying and allocating appropriate funding for change
- Managing the end-to-end change management process, across HCF supply chain
- Generation of status and metric reporting, including co-ordination of analysis and management of corrective action activities.
- Develop and maintain change reporting and processes, identify and provide recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Attend, support and contribute to project and change review meetings
About YOU
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to form strong working relationships with various internal stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to solve problems and deliver business requirements
- Ability to balance priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements
- Willingness to learn, and good attention to detail
- Awareness of a project management, supply chain or engineering discipline is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook and Excel
- Eligibility for a Negative Vetting Level 1 Defence security clearance
