Supplier Quality Assurance Lead
Job Location: This role is based in Adelaide SA.

Role Description:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain- SSN-AUKUS and serving as a key member of the leadership team, you will be accountable to develop and implement supplier quality qualification processes, performing risk and capability assessment, audits whilst building supplier quality capability across the program.
Core Duties:
- Develop and undertake supplier compliance assessments against regulatory, licence, and quality standards and monitor the performance using a risk-based surveillance approach
- Apply engineering and manufacturing judgement to identify supplier performance issues
- Support on-site supplier capability development (PPAP, FAI, CoC, PDVI or equivalent) and lead supplier training and deployment of APQP
- Maintain accurate records of supplier quality performance, audits/assessments, and non-conformance issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain and leverage internal expertise to uplift supplier quality and delivery capability
- Build strong engaging relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors maintaining/fostering a positive culture and a culture of ownership and collaboration
- Build strong relationships with UK counterparts enabling supplier uplift and capability / capacity to Australian and UK programs
About You
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, PFMEA, etc.)
- Inclusive, collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and service-led delivery
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage and resolve complex quality issues
- Certification/Diploma in Quality Certification Standards with Quality auditor certification will be an advantage
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt desirable)
